- Register with the sites that you are interested in, and post your resume.
- Write clear, short and simple online resumes. Focus on quantifiable assets.
- Include words and phrases - key words from the job posting.
- Stay active in a variety of social-networking sites, especially geared to your profession, city, and supportive interests groups.
- The success rate in finding a job through job boards is not that good. However, a regional or specialty job board may have just the job you are looking for, and you may be exactly what the employer needs.
